Counting Crows Picture
Counting Crows is a rock band that became extremely popular in 1993 following the release of their debut album "August and Everything After" featuring the hit song "Mr. Jones." The band was formed by singer Adam Duritz and guitarist David Bryson (both former members of The Himalayans) in San Francisco in 1991. Counting Crows originally performed as an acoustic duo, playing gigs in and around Berkeley and San Francisco. After adding other members, the band was signed to Geffen Records. Counting Crows, with their intimate and melancholy approach, quickly achieved a large fan base among Generation X alternative rock fans who were looking for something different from the raging guitars of the Seattle music scene.

Chelsea Lyrics

Counting Crows

I never go to new york city these days
Something about the buildings in chelsea just kills me
Maybe in a month or two,
Maybe when things are different for me,
Maybe when things are different for you
You know all of this shit, just sticks in my head
Is there anything different these days?
The light in her eyes goes out
I never had light in my eyes anyways
Maybe things are different these days
Its good for everybody to hurt somebody once in a while
The things I do to people I love shouldnt be allowed
Something about the buildings in chelsea just kills me
Something about the buildings in chelsea just kills me
Is there anything different these days?
The light in her eyes goes out,
I never had light in my eyes anyways
Maybe things are different these days
I dream Im in new york city some nights.
Angels flow down from all the buildings
Something about an angel just kills me
I keep hoping something will
Is there anything different these days?
The light in her eyes goes out,
I never had light in my eyes anyways
Maybe things are, maybe maybe maybe
Maybe things are, maybe maybe maybe maybe things are different,
Maybe things are different these days
The light goes out
I never had light in my eyes anyways
Maybe things are different......these days.
